Tandoori Chicken

​Tandoori Chicken: the name actually makes my mouth water.

Now you don't have to give up on any of the wonderful spicy dishes to maintain your ideal body weight.

This recipe gives you the perfect, flavorful tandoori chicken without tipping off your weighing scales.

Eat healthy, yummy and stay fit.

​Ingredients:

Option#1:

  • ​1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • ​lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • ​2 Tbsp ginger, grated
  • ​2 tsp garlic, minced
  • ​1 Tbsp onion, minced
  • ​2 tsp garam masala powder
  • ​1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ​2 tsp cumin powder
  • ​2 tsp coriander powder
  • ​3 tsp cayenne pepper (or less if spices scare you)
  • ​(about) 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ​2 tsp black pepper

Option#​2:

​(If you are new to this cooking thing try this)

  • ​1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • ​Lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • ​2 Tbsp ginger, grated
  • ​2 tsp garlic, minced
  • ​1 Tbsp onion, minced
  • ​1 packet Shaan Tandoori Masala (looks like this http://amzn.to/2AXvZIZ)

​Directions:

​Marinate for at least 2 hours or as long as you wish in the refrigerator.

Cook on grill, oven or air fryer.

I cooked mine in air fryer at 390 F for about 25 minutes.
