Pepper Chicken

​This is the easiest and most fat-burning chicken recipe you could ever make.

You will attain great benefits from using loads of black pepper in this recipe.

The black pepper is very thermogenic and helps burn fat.

Get ready to prepare a healthy, yummy chicken for today.

​Ingredients:

  • ​1 whole chicken with bones with skin removed; cut into small pieces (Or about 3-4 lbs or chicken breasts/thigh meat cut into small pieces)
  • Tempering Spices: Pinch of Asafoetida, 1 tsp of Shah Zeera (Black Cumin) seeds, 2 bay leaves, 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • ​Ginger grated - 2 Tbsp
  • ​Garlic minced - 2 Tbsp
  • ​Red onion finely chopped - 1 cup
  • ​2 finely chopped Asian green chilies (Skip if you don't like hot and spicy food)
  • ​Greek yogurt - 1/4 cup
  • ​Freshly ground black pepper - 3 Tbsp (use in generous amounts!!)
  • ​Garam Masala - 2 Tbsp
  • ​Kasuri Methi Leaves - 2 Tbsp
  • ​Coriander Powder - 1 Tbsp
  • ​Turmeric - 1 tsp
  • ​Olive Oil - 4 Tbsp
  • ​Salt to taste
  • ​Chopped Cilantro (for garnish) - 2 cup

​Directions:

    ​Heat Olive Oil in a large pan.

    ​Add tempering spices.

    ​Now add onion, ginger, and garlic and saute for about 5 minutes.

    ​Now add the chicken pieces and salt and stir well until they are lightly browned, about 10 minutes or so.

    ​Add everything else, except kasuri methi and cilantro.

    ​Stir everything to mix and cover and let cook on medium-low flame for about 15 minutes.

    ​Finally, garnish with cilantro and kasuri methi.

​Notes:

​This is a great make ahead recipe.

It is an incredible source of protein and also yummilicious.

I could eat this every day and not get bored.

Optional - if you happen to have bell peppers - green, red, yellow and orange you could add to this chicken at the end or right in your meal prep boxes.

When you microwave to reheat the pepper gets cooked enough for enjoying with Rotis!
